Inside Silver King Mine
Inside, the mine is remarkably stable and dry. The hard rock tunnel continues 1,750 feet into Henline Mountain without the aid of structures to support the ceiling. These images were taken by Ted at about the 900 foot mark, with the wide spot in the second image possibly serving as a staging area or for storing mining equipment.
After visiting the mine, we crossed Henline Creek for a few more pictures of spectacular Henline Falls.
