Near the center of The Yards, a raised brick plaza opens to a new pedestrian
bridge that connects the community to Union Station and the transit mall, across
the railroad complex. Dual elevator towers at each end of the bridge provide
access for the disabled. The bridge provides an outstanding new vantage
point for train spotters in Portland.
