Final Falls
 

      
A close-up view of Final Falls
      that reveals a second shelf below the viewpoint that appears
      to have been the spot where the 1963 Naming Expedition photographed
      these falls. This view also reveals the huge cavern located
      below the falls - the original goal of our 1983 trip was to reach
      this cavern at river level, a goal that we learned is impossible
      without dangerous rope descents and river fords.
