Approaching
from Portland on Highway 35, Lookout Mountain is the high ridge
to the East, visible just after crossing Bennett Pass. The Gumjuwac
Trail climbs the ridge in the foreground in its steep ascent
of the summit. High Prarie is located on the highest shoulder
of the peak, just left of the summit in this view.
