Prairie
Upon
arriving at High Prairie over the bumpy access road, you suddently
enter a lush alpine meadow, surrounded by dark groves of mountain
hemlock, subalpine fir and Engelmann spruce. These sprawling
meadows are situated at the 6,000 foot level, high on the northern
shoulder of Lookout Mountain.
