The official U.S. Forest Service Mt. Jefferson Wilderness page has important permit information for visitors to Jefferson Park. The Northwest Trail Pass program is also in effect here, and you should pick up a pass at participating vendors before parking at the trailhead

 The Breitenbush Hot Springs Resort is a rustic place to soak your bones after hiking through the Jefferson Wilderness

The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs allows hikers to visit lakes and trails in the Olallie Scenic Area, but be sure to check trailhead message boards for rules of use and seasonal closures.
