Jerry Falls Portrait
Like other sections of the route, Jerry Falls had been substantially cleared of smaller debris since our last visit, though the huge pile of old growth logs that guard the approach to its base were still in place. The result was a very photogenic scene, with a larger splash pool than before, and a clear view of the falls.
From here the second canyon-crawl was dead ahead: scaling the west shoulder of the falls, then traversing around the cliffs that frame the lip of the falls.
