Mount Hood Lily

Wildflowers were in full bloom along the upper reaches of Henline Creek, including this relatively uncommon Mount Hood (or Santiam) lily in the forest above Deanna's Slide. These beautifully scented flowers suffer for their beauty, and have disappeared from more traveled areas of the Cascades due to heavy harvesting.
