Wet and tired, we turned back at the
overlook of Ron and Dave Falls, having failed to find the intriguing
"Maynard's Cave" route past these falls. Instead, we
climbed up the east side of the canyon, and eventually found
the Ogle Mountain Trail. Here, Ted, Jon and Matthew have just
arrived at the trail, and are starting the trip back to the trailhead.
This rock outcrop will be a good marker for our return trip,
when we will attempt to complete Maynard Drawson's original exploration,
and see Deanna's Slide, Jackie and Steve Falls. |
