Eagle Creek Trail Twister Falls...

...and if you have the nerve, you can lean over and see the next phase in the falls, where the cataract hits a ledge 50 feet below the trail, turns, and plunges another 150 feet in a raging torrent into the splash pool below. This spot is not for the faint-hearted to linger at, but a nice stopping point is just beyond Twister Falls, along the waterslide shown on the previous page.

If you've made it this far, then you only have to summon the courage to retrace your steps over the cliffs on the return trip!
