Eagle Creek Trail Trailside Wildflowers

Wildflowers are a hallmark of the Columbia Gorge, where the confluence of the dry, desert climate of Eastern Oregon and Washington meets the west, Pacific climate. The result is a wonderful mix of wildflowers, and the Eagle Creek trail provides great viewing. Among the most sublime are the Tiger Lily and Columbine (below), which can be found between High Bridge and 4 1/2 Mile Camp.
